These pictures of Southwark Bridge are from a collection of photographs featuring the bridges over the River Thames in London. Southwark Bridge is an attractive bridge which makes a great photographic subject. The current Southwark was built in 1921. At 880 feet long it links Queen Street and Bankside. Southwark comprises five steel arches supported by four stone river piers topped by pierced lunettes.
