These pictures of Chelsea Bridge are from a collection of photographs featuring the bridges over the River Thames in London. Chelsea Bridge is beautiful and a pleasure to photograph because there few obstructions. There are excellent viewpoints from many locations. The current Chelsea Bridge was built in 1937. At 698 feet long it links Chelsea and Battersea and comprises two fifty five foot tall square towers supporting suspension chains which hold the roadway. Lamp posts decorated with golden galleions are situated at each end of the bridge.
